That first period was classic Sharks hockey. Outplay the other team for 75% of the period, double their shot total, and somehow end up trailing. All with the other team's below average backup in net.

The Islanders being this season's version of Vegas would actually be more amazing and spectacular than Vegas was.

I don't want to take anything away from the Isles, but there is no way that Greiss and Lehner keep up the insane numbers they are putting up. But I suppose if they can score more goals, even as the numbers start to even out, they can easily make the playoffs.

He played the team who drafted him. He demanded a trade because he sucked so bad that he could not crack the line up. He was traded to THE TEAM THE BOLTS PLAYED TONIGHT!!!! He sucked and skates around in mediocrity. He was the 3rd overall pick in the draft, (so was Brian Lawton). He is nothing more than a third line player on a one man team, (Carey Price).
