Apparently the NHL bracket challenge doesn't lock your bracket in until 6 PM central on Monday, so I guess there's a chance I might change the number of games for a series or two. But I don't expect to change my mind on which team moves on unless some kind of major injury happens or a team gets dominated G1.

I'm over Florida. I saw it last year, then they fell apart to dust. I hope they lose. I don't really "like" anyone in the east but I'd love to see Brind'Amour get rewarded

Hellebuyck: 4 games, 19 goals allowed on 146 shots, .870 save percentage, 5.22 G per 60 minutes.

So far, so good... if only the Jets wern't going out of their way to try and break my bracket lol.

Jets were disappointing. I thought that series would go to at least 6 games. I wouldn't say that it's a choke to lose to the Avs in round 1, as they are a tough opponent, but losing the way they did I think is a choke. They barely scraped by in game 1 but still gave up 6 goals. Then they lost 4 straight, giving up on average 5.5 goals a game. That's brutal.

Thankfully I didn't have the Jets making it past R2. It's always painful when you have a conference finalist or Cup finalist getting knocked out R1. That really kills your bracket. So far my Eastern conference finalists have both moved on (CAR/FLA), and EDM is up 3-1.

DAL was scaring me for a little bit, but they've evened the series and got home ice advantage back, so I feel pretty good now. We'll see what happens tonight.
