Most players aren't gonna have Zadorov's bluntness in interviews. I wouldn't look too much into it, nor his captaincy. Longest tenured flame, hard worker, oldest on the team.. who else was gonna get it?

And I don't really think the C matters that much, the leaders, if there are any, will speak their mind, whether they have the C or not.
