JC has done this in the past with specifically Gus. Like Gus is his personal project it seems. He said last year to the media something like "I get on Gus and call him out because he has the ability to do the things to be a top pair guy, its just the commitment level to do it every shift. If the ability wasn't there I wouldn't spare the time". Hard to disagree given how gifted he is on the offensive side of game

Well, I'm glad to see that JC is as frustrated with Gus as many of us are. IMO, he needs more sessions with a sports psychologist - his errors are not necessarily defensive lapses as much as they are trying to do too much and not thinking the game at all.
