you can say a lot of things about rocky but the guy has never been cheap at all about the hawks doing what is needed financially to win...seems like danny is going to be an even better owner, really props to him for green lighting the teardown and not focusing on the immediate p&l of it

I'm starting to really like Danny Wirtz. This has to be his plan, no gm gets to spend this much on nothing. Bonus money, buyouts, no timeline, etc.

I'm happy to see this trade and buyout.

I was hoping to see a couple more buyouts like this. I'm glad Danny and Rocky are one board with flushing so much money down the toilet. I prefer this over pretending guys taking 4x market value are going to be great mentors and what not against competition that regularly brings their B-game against the Hawks next year.

It is a wonderful tavern tan. Shocking given some of the family business. Glad the booze doesn't make him shut the wallet.
