You're very concerned about how much money is being paid out per position. It's really irrelevant. The key is that the team is in good shape with the roster. They have two top 6 RW's, adding another top 6 LW isn't the end of the world because we have too many LW's.

I think we'd all prefer a center, but dealing with Nelson for one more season and having a beefed up top 6 is still pretty good.
