You must get excited really Easily, all muzzin needed to do is swing the puck away, not handle it under pressure. Pretty basic.
Swing the puck to where? The corner maybe. That maybe saves the goal, but it still leads to a turnover as Hall is moving much quicker than them. Muzzin is never put into that situation if both guys didn't go for the puck and one of them backed off for an outlet pass. They got crossed up and it lead to a turnover and goal. It's on Muzzin more as he had the puck, but it's on both.

what are you talking about? Youre making things too difficult, it's simple. Knock the puck away and that doesn't go in. Muzzin has moments like that a lot. That's his usual. Trust the Kings fans. Not Doughtys fault.

I'm not making it complicated at all. It's simple, the two defensemen shouldn't be standing 1-2 feet from each other in that situation.

The only reason Doughty was that close is because he was positioning himself to be there for the loose puck. As soon as he saw Muzzin had control, he gives up the lane he was taking.

Doughty didn’t fail to give his D partner an outlet. Muzzin didn’t have control for long enough for that to be a realistic need. That goal is on Muzzin, who was just too casual when the puck came to him. He needed to play with more urgency. He handled that like he had all the time in the world, which he didn’t.

how about not blaming Doughty nor Muzzin for the goal and just give Hall, a great player, credit?

Most other forwards in the league who are forechecking on that same play, don't strip and turn that puck over clean on Muzzin. That's how good Hall is.

It wasn't really that bad a play or decision by Muzzin, Hall just made a great play that most other's do not make in that situation.

It’s the responsibility of the puck carrier to not be stripped of the puck. This is especially true for a defenseman, at his own blue line. Muzzin can screw up with Hall still deserving props for a great play.

Most goals, even the highlight reel ones, are usually the result of mistakes. In this case, Muzzin screwed up. Hall took advantage of the screw up.

Oh yeah cos the kings have a boat load of experience elite dmen on the team named Forbort, Mcdermid, and Folin that can take on the additional minutes. Doughty had an off game like the rest, but he has been one of the best dmen this season.
