Here's a hot take: Everyone thinks it would be impossible to walk away from that contract, as a player.. I mean, but I promise you all this....

Huberdeau, if not tradeable, will not suffer for the duration being public enemy number one. Constantly being asked what's up. Etc.

I don't see him continuing to play after next season if this continues. Yep. I'll just call it out.

I thought we outplayed them for the first half of the period. Feels like it should be at least 1-1.

Wolf is doing great IMO. Feels good to see a guy not relying on size. Positionally and technique wise he is so solid. Made some routine saves that others might have let in rather easily.

Huberdeau feels like Loui Eriksson where the talent evaporated almost as soon as the ink dried on the contract

I guess we'll see how he handles himself being blasted day after day after day. I agree, it's a hot take, but I don't think he will handle that vitriolic pressure.

Some Canadiens fans are proposing Anderson and Gallagher for Huberdeau... I think their combined cap hit is similar to Huberdeau's but only 4 yrs...

Man I never thought there'd be another Gary Leeman type situation here. This one is turning into quite the predicament.
