So Gallagher has 20+ goals. Domi is now at 20 goals. Tatar is at 19, so we know he will hit 20. Drouin is at 17 so we know he will hit 20.

When was the last time Habs had at least 4 different players with 20+ goal seasons?

And to think if Shaw and Byron had been healthy (or at least healthier than they were), they also were on pace for 20+ goal seasons.

And actually Byron, as we speak, despite missing so many games, is on pace for 18 goals. A small hot streak and he could very well have another 20 goal season.

He also made some poised plays in the defensive zone after that. One should have resulted in another assist but then Lekhonen had other ideas.

He probably won’t hit 20, but it doesn’t matter. He’s being groomed and it looks good early getting third line duties and learning the position we so desperately need.

It’s official Drouin has the Patioready EN Stats Padding Clause in his contract

Out of the 12 forward options to have on the ice defending a one goal lead I’d rather have a d-man play up

Lehkonen needs to be on the 4th line and Hudon needs to be on a different team

Drouin-Domi-Shaw
Byron-Danault-Gallagher (great for defensive matchups)
Tatar-Kotakniemi-Armia (maybe swap with Gallagher and make this the 2nd line, but I think Tatar and KK should stick together for the next couple games)
Lehkonen-Thompson-Weise/D-Lo

Folin may very well be hot garbage but I'd at least give him a look. Kulak has been bad for a good stretch here.
In a competition between two bad defenseman, the one who has played more for you gets the nod ( barring injuries)

2014-2015 had Patches, Pleks, Gally and Chucky with 20+ goals each, but yeah apart from that season not so much depth recently.

The Leafs board is so bad man. I prefer the constant cynicism and negativity here to their nonsense. Can't wait until their fans start posting here again Saturday.
Better get used to it, those '67 jokes aren't likely to last much longer...
