A couple of months to go yet and then the Real Deal...
We've been a very good regular season team 3 yrs running,
and I'm happy for all those folks who take great pride in the reg season results.
However for me at least it is meaningless.
We should always be in or near the top similar to Detroit given our pedigree.

So as far as that goes MB has delivered on his promise.
More important to me however is the honing and perfecting of the game until it is unbreakable.
We aren't quite there yet and I doubt we achieve that level of play with this group.
So while you convince yourself everything is grand in the rarified air.
I'm looking at quality of play trying to determine if we are any better this year than last for PO hockey.
