He was arguably the most consistent player for Laval all season, game in and game out. This will probably be his last chance to make an impact with the big team and I hope he does get at least a chance to fight for a spot in training camp with Poehling and Evans. Internal competition is always good to have.

Could see him stick as the 12th-14th forward depending on how the rest of the roster go.

Yay! I was expecting he might leave. Glad he didn't. He has the potential to be a serviceable depth forward.

Sometimes....I just scare myself. Posted about where is Vejdemo last night when I saw Nick Roy play.....and he signs today. Aside from Roy, Vejdemo is still an okay prospect tha tmost definately deserve his shot next year. And if that doesn't work out, it feels a return to Europe.

Honestly, he died off after the first half of the season. But I do like him.

I figured he would be back as he has a legit shot at being the 13th/14th forward. Good speed, skating, size, two way play, he won't hurt you and gives us decent depth in case he's back in Laval.

On the pure production front he did slow down a bit but I'd really put him on top of the list as far as shift to shift work rate is concerned. It's not always spectacular but he's always going 100% .

Too bad his skill never really translated but nice to see him stick around. haven't seen him in Laval but he has speed to burn. hoping he can be a bit of a late bloomer.

de la rose have no skills. vejdemo have some skills atleast

DLR was a good defensive forward, he's 8 months older but he has had a much better career so far then Vejdemo at the NHL level, DLR has 259 NHL games under his belt (reg + playoffs), Vejdemo has 7 games.

In the AHL it's very close numbers wise, but DLR was in the AHL from age 19-21, Vejdemo didn't come over till he was older from age 22-24.

Vejdemo - 61 pts - 140 games .44 ppg
DLR - 56 pts - 133 games .42 ppg
