Cowen is the dumbest d-man on Earth. You can't teach smarts and hockey sense, and he doesn't have it. We need to unload him while he has some value.

He is playing a 1 on 1 in OT with the on-rusher on the outside. The puck-carrier, pulls up short and centres it, and Cowen, stops late, and actually skates behind the net and comes out the other side.... wtf??

I saw that too. One of the great puzzles there.

Sure but, is he really going to learn offense playing against lesser caliber? He's that classic tweener where he doesn't quite fit in the NHL yet but is too good for the juniors. If only we could play him in Bingo.
