Get to see the new Sabres with Eichel, Dahlin, Mittlestadt, and Skinner. Skinner was a great pick-up for them.

We ALWAYS have a hard time in Buffalo. I don't care if we lose this one as long as we don't get creamed by Boston on Saturday.

Nathan Beaulieu a healthy scratch tonight...

I said it at the time, but getting a 3rd for that guy was a minor miracle
Bergevin should have traded him sooner. He is awful and I will never understand why many here liked him. I'd rather have Benn instead.

I liked Beaulieu cause he has raw skills (mobile, strong, decent vision, has size, can shoot/pass the puck). The weakness to his game is between the ears and the gap between skills and production is massive.

Skinner being basically given to Buffalo has really helped Buffalo's offense, he has great chemistry with Eichel. I expect them to be very dangerous tonight and I'm not too optimistic about this game , have been wrong before...

Is this the first game where Kotkaniemi might break out? Sabres group of forwards are young and look at that center depth. Eichel/Sobotka/Mittelstadt/Larsson. Their team D is on par with what we have allowed so far though.

They are a young team just like us , main difference is that some of their young pieces have superstar potential. I think we have our work cut out for us tonight.

I have no idea. I thought we would lose to the Flames. :dunno:

- Habs are +6 in goal differential (27 goals for and 21 goals against) after 8 games. Tied 6th in the NHL

- Sabres are -3 in goal differential (22 goals for and 25 goals against) after 9 games. Tied 21st in the NHL

At this stage, the goal against seems similar (per game average) but we have outproduced them in goals for. I think this might be a close game but edge to the Habs heading in IMO. I think our forward group has more depth and can overcome their offensive potential.

That's how I see it on paper but the game is played on the ice. I can see it going either way and it might be a overtime game.

Is Beaulieu really scratched lololol. Another great move by the Berge getting a 3rd round pick for him.

What would you rather have? Beaulieu with less AAV and term or Alzner with his contract and a 3rd round pick? lol.

I will reserve the right to deny the "neither" haha.
