Oh well... give @Kudo Shinichi props for calling it...

If we shutdown Mackinnon - Rantanen, we win

Plus side, we play Arizona next so that should be a lock for a win.

Note: Jokes about Voldemort aside, remember the rules folks.

Same old, same old.

Need more size and game breakers up front.

Need a NHL caliber left handed defenseman that can slot in as a 2-3 more than anything.

Price with the bad giveaway but it’s not all on him.

Drouin is a parasite. Relies completely on Domi being going. When Domi isn’t rolling, Drouin does nothing.

So... can we talk about you know what now? The... that secret word we can't pronounce anymore?

Wait for a few games slump at least.

I know why the Mods are doing it, boards turned into a tank board can become a shore. Not the least on a moderating level. We don't want to see two clans going at each other for instance. And for those who still want to win, it can be frustrating for them.

What is the prospective timeline to fixing the special teams? I'd like to know when to start tuning in to Habs games again.

Price kept it to two goals...but cost one.

Drouin was so-so tonight, Domi invisible.

The D was better with Mete's mobility, but obviously we need more talent and more physicality IMO.

I think a reshaping of our forwards is overdue:

Drouin-Domi-Gallagher
Tatar-Kotkaniemi-Shaw/Lehkonen
Byron-Danault-Shaw/Lehkonen
Peca-Chaput-Agostino

Alternatively:

Drouin-Domi-Tatar
Lehkonen/Byron-Kotkaniemi-Gallagher
Byron/Lehkonen-Danault-Shaw
Peca-Chaput-Agostino

Hudon and Desluariers are odd men out, though I'd put #20 in for heavier teams

They did play better result is the same.

Domi has been invisible for awhile now. We're not getting much from Tatar or Danault either.

That leaves Kotka's line & he is playing well, but Byron is useless with him.

I'd like to see Kotka with Lehkonen and Gallagher.

Put Byron - Danault - Shaw together.

Then try

Drouin - Domi - Tatar.

Julien needs to shake it up.

Pretty obvious now team is not bad enough to be in the bottom 10, but no where near good enough to be in the top 10. We're somewhere in the lower middle.

D is absolutely terrible, although I thought Mete had a great game.
