Go Habs Go
Meet Konstantin Okulov, the KHL star the Canadiens are...
It's been talked about since last summer, but with almost no hockey to talk about I thought it wouldn't hurt to have it's own thread. The article is from M-A Godin yesterday, it's behind a paywall so please don't post anything that isn't listed for free.
For those that don't know him, he is a teammate of Romanov's and there has been talk since last year that the Habs are interested in bringing him over. He was free to come over after last season, he opted to return for 1 year so when this season is over he will be free to sign with any team. Currently CSKA is in the 2nd round of the playoffs but it has been pushed back to April 10th.
He's got decent size, not big but not small either, he is usually on the 2nd line center but he can play on the wing as well. He turned 25 last month. The leafs are said to be interested in him as well.
