The Oilers slept at the wheel there. They were "my" target for a home for Jake, but they don't want to get better so that's what she wrote.

Oilers will live and die with McDavid and Drai. They never built an equilibrated team. They are weak on D and no center who is an ace in defense. Maybe the Oilers fans don't care so management don't either. They have the ingredient to be an explosive attack team and they live with that branding. It's their choice but I think slowly but surely the Kings might beat them in the near future and become a serious contender. Kings are building a well equilibrated team. We'll see.
