Habs finally playing like a somewhat cohesive unit compared to early in the year. They have dug themselves a pretty big hole tho, let's see how the next couple weeks go. Suzuki is gonna be worth every penny of that contract, no doubt about it. Evans is getting better each game and Romanov seems to have finally figured it out, hopefully they all keep this up. Also Poehling didn't look out of place but needs to show more

so many players are playing at a faster speed which to me can only mean they came to camp out of shape.

The team isn't fast but with an all time short offseason, injuries, and turnover, it's not at all surprising that the team was not clicking. When you don't click with each other, everything looks slow and clunky.

Evans and Romanov have taken a step in the right direction the last number of games.

Romanov in particular is not playing erratic and running everywhere. He's stabled his game and as a result, he is more reliable.

Evans is just on a roll right now. Playing solid defensively. He hustles and forechecks hard. Creates offensively. Is great on the dot, too.

Agreed but as the C’s wake up, team will improve. Suzuki and Evans had great games.

Just goes to show why scouting is so important, 207th overall and has become this good.

They’ve been playing better recently but it’s still not overly exciting to watch other than Suzuki.
I’d argue not even Suzuki lol

but:

Ryan25 had a good game, not sure if he’s got what it takes to become an NHL top6 player but his skills do..

Kulak looked like McDavid for a couple shifts

I saw Savard on the ice once, and it was at the beginning of the game.

Gallagher looked Gallagher ( misses his buddy Danault and Tatar )

Romanov was our brightest looking D tonight

Allen stood on his head the last half of the game with solid play reading

cheers guys!!!
