According to the boxscore Evans with the most ice time for the forwards with 19:43 TOI which was surprising to see and for the dmen Guhle led with 25:29 TOI and Matheson 2nd with 25:06 TOI.
But for the lame penalty that was called against him Matheson would have, as usual, played the most minutes last night. But Guhle is quickly becoming a workhorse for the team. Despite a few hick-ups in the defensive zone, it was one of Barron’s steadier games.

I've liked him for the last 2 years. I was watching Oshawa for Ritchie, but Sennecke always impressed me more. He's really skilled with his hands. He can handle the puck at speed & while evading players with his edges. Terrific vision with a sick release, but needs to shoot more. He competes really well, especially down low & along the boards. He needs more refinement in defensive zone.

Good height, but underweight.

We'll see how his year goes, but l've liked him for awhile.
Good and accurate analysis. If we are picking in the middle of the draft, Sennecke is an excellent option as he can do something that can’t be taught or coached up: he can score. And how many of our other prospects can accomplish that? Because of his excellent scoring ability, Sennecke will go much higher than many are currently predicting.

That's all nice for Anderson but he needs to start scoring with the goalie in the net
His decline has been swift and severe
We should start worrying about 'his decline' when he stops having and creating scoring chances. The goals will come. Until then, Anderson's effort is manifest for everyone to see. And on a particularly small team, his size brings an important asset when we play heavier teams. And the Kings are looming.

Slaf needs to shoot. Made great little plays all night. Not sure why he’s hailed as Wayne Gretzky for 2 games though

It's funny but not surprising how winning brings a team together. Success is the best medicine. Tanking for extended periods is catastrophic -- look at Buffalo.
I think losing brings a team together arguably more. That’s the true test of prevailing. Teams with a silver spoon that win right away usually get overconfident and lose in the playoffs

We aren’t a big team but we certainly aren’t small. We are right in the middle when it comes to team size

Because fans are restless and desperate so they'll celebrate him looking like an NHLer like he's just scored a hat-trick in consecutive games.

Nevermind that he's being outscored by three rookie 2022 draftees, one of whom is a second rounder.
The improvements are encouraging and fans should be happy to watch Slaf playing well.
If he had scored a goal last night but was a complete non factor would that be better than the many shifts where he looked strong along the boards, drew a penalty that led to the winning goal? It isn't always about stats. Slaf is becoming a pain to play against and he doesn't have man strength yet.

You're not getting much for Pearson, maybe a 3rd

Monahan could fetch a 1st+ but they might wanna extend him if the price and term is right

Anderson will get what the stupidest gm in the league is willing to give for such a "unicorn" lol

There is no point in trading Anderson and we can rest assured he’ll be better going forward.

You don’t think it might have to do with you being on negative post number 5000 concerning Slafkovsky?

Give it a rest.

It's not a decline. He looks like the same Josh Anderson as in the previous seasons. He still has the same shot, skating, physicality, etc, and is generating many scoring chances. The difference this season is he's been very unlucky and his confidence dropped after not scoring for so long.

I think that Josh finally woke up when he fought that Florida player. He is what he is and pretended to be more of a finesse player.
He needs to bring that aggressive play. He can be a mean SOB when he plays his style.
He needs to be a Power Horse, not a Donkey without power.

Cole’s reaction on Anderson’s empty-netter is priceless.

Good team mates, picking up and helping each other!!

Could this be some, of the culture we have heard so much about?
I think so..............guys who can pick each other up.

Last few games, Andy has played well, and picked up assists, hit people has a fight that he destroyed the guy etc
Let's see if Andy can now relax and play the game....

Who we picking up at the deadline?
The end of December and January will be a good test to know where the team is at. The last 4 games we won were all against teams expected to finish below 20th. The rest of the schedule until the end of January is mostly against top 20 teams and the 3 games against teams outside of it are two games in two nights in two different cities. It's a tough schedule ahead.
