lol. late first
lol. late first
It might be enough to get a very late first(like 28-31)
It might be enough to get a very late first(like 28-31), more likely in to 30-33 range though
It would be nice if there was a value chart like the NFL has, but I don't think a 3rd rounder moves the needle that much.
Just using similar deals recently Islanders and Tampa made 2 different trades in 2014(35 + 58 for 28) and 2015(33 and 73 for 28)
Maybe Chicago if NSH gets the 31st pick? They don't have a 2nd and have two 3rds already. it depends who is on the boards

I agree. To be frank, i was targeting the lowest of NYR 3 1st picks
Rangers don't get a lot of 1st round picks. I don't see them trading it for the 38th and 67th. I know moving down 7 spots at that point isn't really much, but I don't think we're going to attempt to move down in the draft at all.
This chart says you could get up to about 18 or 19 but I not sure if that is true anymore.
Do you have any history of a trade including two early 2nd??
I wouldn't trade down from the HABS POV, not in that range, unless a player they had in their top 20 was still available, from 25-50 this year it's an absolute crap shoot.

What does it cost to trade up in the draft?
I think it gives a good idea of the relative value of a pick- based on this chart they might be able to fetch one of the latest first (think 30-31st)
