What worked for me was having my compass out instead of my gun. They won't attack me if I stare at them, but the big problem is that I don't know where I'm going and if I just keep staring at them, my cone of vision is too narrow to see much beside them. By having the compass out, I can maintain eye contact with them and just turn in the direction that the compass points. There were also a few situations where I walked halfway into a room, then just sprinted past them. This only worked if I was going somewhere that'd be inaccessible to them, though, because they will chase you. For example, in one section I had to duck under a broken wall and then couldn't follow. One more thing to keep in mind is that you can't let them corner you. If they corner you, they'll attack no matter how much eye contact you have and you don't have any weapons at this stage that will kill them before they kill you.

These past 2 weeks have been awful. I've got a disc issue in my L1 S5 and the pain that causes is excruciating.

After years of faithfully using Firefox, I've switched to Opera, for now at least. Still adjusting to the different layout. Fortunately, there are a lot of extensions, like a bookmarks sidebar, a must have as far as I'm concerned.

I like it so far. It's faster, uses less resources and has a built-in blocker. At some point an integrated VPN will be implemented, although the ones they offer now are pretty inexpensive. Not that I ever torrent or anything

Yeah Operas great. I was using Firefox for years but i dont know what happened. It got really slow and sluggish for me. When i bought a new computer and downloaded it I still had the same problem. I dont use any extensions other than ad block but opera is super fast.

I kept getting that old DNSChanger trojan. I'm pretty certain it was the codex plug-in that's supposed to be part of the browser, but even after Firefox put out a security patch it still happened. That was pretty much the end of it for me.

Another nice feature with Opera is the video pop out. I'm watching the Pens Cup Blu-Ray on You-Tube as I type this  Which, for me is nice, since I'm not running dual monitors.

As grateful and excited as I am for the chance to show our whole Sales Org the progress we've made CRM wise, being told 24h in advance that I gotta drive from Quebec City to Saratoga Springs, NY tomorrow AND prepare a presentation is a little overwhelming

I had a really bad disc issue a while ago too. After various attempts to make it better, the thing that ended up working was a lumbar epidural steroid injection. Literally, from the moment I walked out of the hospital, it felt 100x better.

Slim Charles shoulda been in more seasons. :shakehead

agreed. I'm watching through again and actually just watched that episode last night. For as much as I remember liking him, I was surprised he didn't show up until season 3. I don't think I've ever watched another show that was able to add characters as late as The Wire and still make me care about them nearly as much as the earlier characters.

ugh, back stuff sucks. After her 3rd back surgery, my mom has now been sent to a Pain Management specialist instead of doctors who can actually try to make her back better. It sucks. Hopefully you guys have better luck. Brandinho is off to a better start, those steroids never seemed to work well for her. The best anyone has been able to do is two pills a day for the pain.

snap, PSNow is coming to PC. I think that means I'll be able to play some PS4 exclusives without having a PS4. Come on Final Fantasy...

Ouch. Get better soon, man...

I'm trying. The disc is pushing on my sciatic and that's just making everything worse. Been off on FMLA for a week now as well. Worst part is is that since I'm pretty limited to what I can do, I've got zero social interaction with anyone and tbh that's the hardest thing to deal with. Along with negative thoughts.

Yeah, you totally forget by Season 5 that he had only been around for a bit, he just steals so many scenes. Anwan Glover does a great job with him as a non-actor. The Wire is really a series that I enjoy each time as much as the first time.

Yeah it never really relies on surprised or twists to keep you interested. It's just a bunch of great characters in a good story. And with the number of characters it is a lot easier to follow everything the 2nd time around. It's making for a great second time through. I liked season two way way more this time around.

So, I took a half day today, bc my PC parts were arriving. 9/10 parts came. Went on amazon to look at the order status and one of the parts won't be here until the 30th. That one part happens to be my i5. FML. Now, after I've been so excited and the weeks halted to a snails pace, I must continue to suffer for another week.

Sad. Face.

This is going to be exactly what happens to me when I put mine together here in a couple of months. I just know it.

Which i5 did you go with, if you don't mind me asking?
