Janrkrok is a steal for sure. I was wondering if he was going to be a late first pick and really was disappointed with his late second round selection but you can see he has amazing puck distribution skills.

Give credit to the redwings, again.

I don't mean this to be mean, but just an honest assessment.

This Czech team is brutal. They are soft mentally (shown by quick back-to-back goals throughout the tournament so far), undisciplined (which particularly hurts when you can't kill penalties), have terrible goaltending (at least when playing decent teams).

The Hockey News picked them to finish 10th, which I was shocked to see. This obviously won't happen now, as they beat Norway and that carries over, but I would not at all be surprised to see them relegated. The Slovaks and the Germans could beat this team.

I predict crying from NHLfans for years to come that detroit did it again. Whats funny is järnkrok wasn't even the first swede drafted last draft :E
