Where’s Makalele? Vieira?

This is a hard poll honestly. Not sure how to evaluate each. Does offensive contribution counts?

Anyway to me there are 3 players that standout. Mattheus, Davids, Busquets with HM to Mascherano, Rijkard, Redondo, Vieira, Makalele

He was a very good player. Never an all time great. Not in the same realm as Rijkaard.

Some of the players listed look like defensive specialists, others are good both ways. I know Jonathan Wilson loves to contrast Redondo-Real with Makelele-Real. Redondo good defensively but also good going forward, Makelele more limited but an elite destroyer.

True. But when he was on his game he was incredible. It's just that he wasn't there consistently enough to qualify for this poll.

No man, Busquets is vital to Barça. Probably second most important player in squad (Messi obviously being 1st)
