Said it before the start of the tournament... Germany's cup to lose. Would love to see them play Holland in a classic rivalry final.

Hope that happens, but the truth is Holland has played terrible the last two games, and somehow managed to stumble into the semifinals. Third times the charm, I think, for them.

Be crazy for the two south American favorites to fall and gurantee Europe gets its first world cup win in south america.

6-0, this commentary is hilarious.

This is the worst Brazil team I've ever seen, that's including when Neymar played. It's a far cry of the the Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Kaka, Ronaldihno teams of the recent past. I believe this is the first time Brazil has lost to a Euro team in Brazil since the 50's.
Edit: first home loss since '75 too

I think the commentators mentioned something about 1975 in how Brazil never lost a competitive game(whatever that means) at home since then.

Yea, even when they were winning they looked far from impressive. It was pretty much the Neymar show and then everyone else riding his coat tails. There wasn't one match all tournament where they looked like one of the best teams in the world.

Even with all that and Neymar and Silva out today, I don't see how anyone could have expected this though. This is a Seahawks/Broncos type of unexpected massacre.

Competitive matches are World Cup qualifiers or Copa American games. the stat becomes a bit less impressive as they didn't always have to qualify for the World Cup because the previous winner used to get a free entry into the next tournament

I guess Brazil just doesn't give a damn anymore. Already tied their own negative record now (6-0 loss to Uruguay in 1920).

That means since 1975 they haven't lost any match in Brazil that was part of a competition. So somewhere in there they may have lost a friendly match.

Cesar has been left out to dry. I feel bad for him because there isn't much he can do when his team refuses to defend.

Edit: LMAO the goalscorers don't even fit on the caption.

lol Germany is treating Brazil like they're the Faroe Islands or Fiji. Talk about getting revenge for '02!
