I'm not golf expert, how great was this guy actually?

I think he won the Master's Tournament 4 times in a row. He was at least good enough that long after he retired Arizona Iced Tea wheeled out a flavor named for him, a light half-and-half. His picture's on the can.

Never have liked golf; always have liked Palmer. Great clutch player who seemed to take immense pleasure in the chase.

Actually 4 times every other year (Arnie, AWall, Arnie, Gary, Arnie, Jack, Arnie).

But with Jack & Gary helped popularize golf from more so seen as an elitist sport to something you could play professionally.
