They deserve to be sad for a while. Team is 7 years old and has a finals appearance and a Cup. Spoiled ****ers.
Rofl, they've merely adopted the sad. Canucks fans were born in it.

Monstrous Schlong actually.
Two posts of the year in one day!

Full transparency, I'm not putting this one on my fridge.

Best performance since we demolished the NY teams before the AS break. Totally dominated the game, should have had 5 or 6 goals. All 4 lines and all 3 defensive pairings were strong. Best our transitions have looked in a month.

- Pettersson has started playing with done swagger again. Looked dangerous all night, like a star player should. Strong game again for Hoglander as well.

- Mikheyev had his best game of the season. More of that, please. Looked like a guy about to kick a slump. Skated well, much more purpose in his decisions with the puck.

- Lindholm was better and actually got a primary point. Not earth-shattering but his compete level was obviously up.

- why on earth wasn’t Podkolzin playing like this in Abbotsford? You’re big and strong, skate in straight lines and finish your checks. Go to hard areas. Keep it simple. If he does this he can stay up.

- first point for PDG since mid-November. 26 games. Needed that. Not guaranteed to still have a roster spot tomorrow.

- Soucy is so good. What a steal of a contract. Tanev-esque, just always calm and in the right place.

- Juulsen had his best game in a while.

- Demko rock solid. Didn’t even give a whiff of vulnerability.

Loved the improved discipline tonight. Only penalty was very iffy.

If the playoffs started tomorrow, it would be Vancouver and Vegas in round one. The Knights remind of those Kings teams under Darryl Sutter in the last decade.

If memory serves, they actually won one of their Cups from the eighth hole in the playoffs. They just lay in the weeds during the regular season like Vegas. The Knights stash a few guys LTIR, then load up at the TDL. This team will be a serious load again in the playoffs once everyone is back.

I suspect they'd still be favored in a series against the Canucks. They're a big, heavy team that will close the ice down. And Adin Hill is listed at 6'6" and 202....but somebody needs to check the size of his equipment. He looks like the second coming of J.S. Giguere or the Michelin Man before they changed the equipment rules.
