Blues Add Richards

St. Louis, MO The St. Louis Blues have made a big splash in the free agent market this afternoon, inking the highly talented center Brad Richards to a 10 year contract worth $90M in total. Richards will also receive a no-movement clause throughout the lenth of the contract. "Brad was the guy we've been looking at from the beginning, and we're very excited to see him in a Blues sweater come training camp," said GM IR4. "This player will add a great punch to our lineup."

The Blues are expected to announce more moves within the next 24 hours.

The Detroit Red Wings have made a big splash in FA, signing star Russian winger Alexander Semin
to a 12 year, 90.48M front loaded contract, complete with a no movement clause.

The exact details of the contract have yet to be released, but it is a 7.54M cap hit, taking the Red Wings right up
against the salary cap with a 20 man roster, finishing off their offseason.
