I get your point but to be fair, the Kings are now the most serious contender IMO.

Except the D has 4 offensive defenseman, only 1 of which I would trust against a top line (Drew is beast of course), an old/slow/bad-ish Regehr, and Schultz

We sought to bring Cammalleri in for two reasons. He's a noted playoff performer and sports a PPG average in the playoffs (32GP: 17G-15A-32PTS). Functionally, he adds a one-timer artillery weapon for the right side of a powerplay that has a tendency to dry up in the playoffs.

Cammalleri will don his appropriate #13 jersey number in Boston.

Nemisz is a prospect who has stalled in his progression. With a change of scenery and tutelage in the Bruins organization, we hope to extract the power forward within Nemisz and correct his career trajectory.

Paul Stastny was expendable with our top 6 depth at centre, and we're more than glad to have acquired what we view as our 2nd defence pairing for the next few years in exchange for him. While it was tough to part with PA Parenteau, we feel we have acquired his replacement (for the rest of this season at least) in Ales Hemsky. Stefan Elliot looks like he'll be a solid NHL defenceman sooner rather than later, but we like the game of prospect Martin Marincin as well. We're also glad to welcome one of the leagues top faceoff men in Boyd Gordon to our team.

We are still interested in acquiring a top 4 d-man, and also find ourselves interested in exploring an upgrade in goal. We are open to adding to our prospect pool in a deal too. Jan Hejda, Steve Downie, JS Giguere and Cory Sarich are available.
