I agree with this too GB. Hard to get good value when the league knows you're hired to make trades and we are a dumpster fire.

Only his refusal to bring up Myers, I criticize him about.

I think the call ups will be coming as soon as some vets are shipped out.

I hope they fully commit to the tank though. Going into the draft with a top 5 pick, a 1st acquired through Simmonds/Gudas, and a pick in the 32-37 range could open up a ton of different options.

I want to see Myers, also, but the season is a washout. At this point, let him get big minutes in the AHL until the Flyers can open a clear role for him. It’s only 7 more weeks.
If they called him up now you know he’d get limited minutes, & there’d be some kind of rotation where multiple D are disgruntled because they aren’t playing regularly, etc.

Fair points.

The fan in me wants to inject not only youth but life into the team. Wins at this point are more of a detriment so it makes sense in that regard. I also dont think this lack of a call up is hurting Myers at all.

It's just so horrifying watching the team scuttled by a few players nightly.
