Man this season is tough. The way WD coaches and his lines, to the players performances, to the lack of vision and foresight from BLuc. It's really disheartening.

At this point I think he was deliberately hired to do this.

WD was hired because the Kings were not going to make a long term hire in the middle of the season. Management thought they were a contender and Stevens being axed a month into the season wasn't in the cards.

WD was probably the biggest name that would accept a lame duck role. Management chooses the big name for the lame duck role to try to pretend that they can still turn things around as opposed to doing a Torchetti special. WD also accepts the role with Management putting Sturm on him when it seems apparent he is going to be the guy next season. In the event the Kings don't turn it around, better to not have the stink on Sturm so he can start fresh next season.

I find it hard to believe there are worse teams than us. That's just sad.

Well there are , just depends on the day. The Hawks are just is bad, but the narrative is completely different because they are the Hawks, original 6, and on NBC 45 times this year. The term bad has yet to be used ONCE.
