I thought he had all the tools, but the most noteworthy was poise. He just never took a step forward. Probably too late for him as he's getting lapped. Still a serviceable depth guy, but never quite emerged to top-4. Walker is just a little more juice offensively, and assertive. Probably even worse defensively, but he's got chemistry with other guys and seems to know where to be at least.

Wasn't coming at you with it. It was a huge thing on the board.

Really, it is a case of having a shit pipeline as well while he was the prospect du jour. Everyone got caught up with perfect R/L pairings after the Cups.

As for you, you've been out on LaDue for a bit now so you haven't been carrying the torch for him. It became apparent awhile ago that he just doesn't get it.

I'm not about to call Walker a top four guy either. Hopefully he can keep getting minutes during this lost season and turn in to something, however. Same goes for all the new guys.
