As nice as the #1 pick would be, it’s nicer not having to suffer watching the worst player in the NHL, Dion Phaneuf.

I think the influx of speed and youth in the defense is helping out a lot. Phaneuf was woeful. Forbort is the next weakling. I am enjoying this though.

Kempe seemed to hold down 2C today a lot more effectively than the late Jeff Carter.

I love the Kings winning, I watch every game hoping for the Kings to win. Especially since the team is now playing so many young players, we should be hoping for them to do well.

I’m hoping these wins prove that the team can get by without a lot of the deadweight anchors who have been dragging this team down.

It’s a breath of fresh air to see them playing well with a number of callups in the lineup, and certain vets like Muzzin are starting to play better as well.

Now to find a suitor to take on some of these bums who need to be jettisoned.

Austin Wagner is the f***ing man. I'm as harsh as anyone on Fantenberg but he was good tonight. And Leipsic is looking like a keeper, his creativity is sorely needed, like Patrick Kane lite out there. Phenomenal watching him break ankles with a deke and hit an open dman with a cross pass.
