Vancouver - Mt. Pleasant
First 7 games it went Pete Tong. Their record since then is actually not all that bad. (But I like the Pete Tong reference there. It makes you look hip.)

Pettersson is playing I hope.

win or lose who cares

we should just talk about food for three hours instead
I like the movie category.

As of this post, here's the Canucks' record against other teams sorted by record:

Above .500:
7-12-1

At or Below .500:
6-2-2

For the rest of the month, Canucks have 4 games against teams above .500 (Kraken, Jets, Flames, and Oilers) and 2 games against teams at or below (Blues and Sharks). January, though, has 11 games against teams above .500 and only 2 at or below.
that there is the calling card of a talented but hot mess of a team.

Duncan
I was listening to 650 this afternoon and I was told by a person being interviewed that the fans were so hungry for positives that they were planning parades after an overtime win. Essentially a fan base that wouldn't accept more losing. It seems blueberries just pays for his personal narratives these days.

A while ago I posted about why the rink will always be half-full. The short answer is corporations will give away tickets, there’s people who had purchased the ticket a while ago, tourists taking in the local event, and season ticket holders going or selling their ticket. A lot people don’t care about the hockey, it’s just about seeing the spectacle. This is why they’ve upgraded the concourse and have talked about further improving the fan experience. There are people who will spend nearly the whole game just wandering around. The game is secondary.

Canucks are currently averaging 18,561 attendance per game, 5th overall in the NHL right now.

I got a feeling the arena might be a little more empty tonight, I think not as many are going to drive tonight knowing it's supposed to snow all night and morning, and after the last time this happened a few weeks ago people couldn't get home for hours after the game. I feel a lot may just skip this one tonight, plus after last game who would want to go tonight lol.

Confirmed by Ethan Bear…

Soft country club atmosphere of a bunch of entitled guys collecting a massive paycheque and having fun mailing it in at the cost of the fans that pay for it to happen

Thai food or Vietnamese food, whatchu got?

Used to be more heavy into Vietnamese dishes but living in Toronto now I've just happened on so many delicious Thai spots that it takes the cake. Let me bathe in some Khao Soi hot damn

Jets game clearly showed me how far away this team is from being a serious one.

Wins are meaningless. Losses are meaningless.

Best not take it personal eh?

Playing well for the fans requires being legitimately proud of your team.

And the Canucks brand is at an all time historical low right now.

Anyone still paying money to watch this garbage deserves what they get. You’re paying to watch Tyler Myers and that’s on you.
