Gross.

Team played well for 45 minutes. Rebounded well after the two quick goals to make it 2-1. Then just a total collapse on every level, caught a lucky reprieve from blowing the game, and then blew it a second time.

Boudreau absolutely has to be fired after this. Just a total coaching mess - kept trying to match Stillman-Myers against Eichel in a tight game in the 3rd period. No defensive structure. No belief from the players.

- Demko looked to be following up his solid performance in the last game with another solid performance ... and then WTF. Just totally lost the plot again in the last 10-15 minutes. Terrible puckhandling, terrible rebounds, sliding all over the place again. Ugh.

- Stillman-Myers is a crime against humanity. It's like watching Sbisa play with Gudbranson. Neither player plays with the slightest notion of structure or awareness. Just totally flailing. And then played insane minutes by the coach.

- Bear has been very good since being acquired but this was his worst game. Got caught up ice for a couple 2-on-1s, didn't take his man well enough on the 1-1 goal.

- Schenn is a rock. Can we clone him?

- Pettersson line was very good again. For everything that's happened, the way Pettersson has maintained his intensity and is doing things like his late save with the EN is exceptional. The fact that Kuzmenko was a healthy scratch a couple games ago is ... insane.

- Brock Boeser. Man. For like 4 seconds on the 1-0 goal he actually looked like he woke up and decided he wanted to make something happen for the first time all year. Made a confident, aggressive play and created a goal. Maybe the ability is still there! Then back to a total disaster. His play in the 3rd period was just totally inexcusable. Disgraceful. Zero effort, zero commitment, just totally off in space while Vegas players were beating him to pucks and position.

- 4th line was excellent again, especially Joshua who has been a bit of a revelation lately.

- Dries might as well not have even played.

- Garland I thought started the game really well and was one of the team's better players but was inexplicably removed from the Horvat line for Boeser which worked briefly on that 1-0 goal and then cratered that line for the rest of the game.

- Miller forces so many low-percentage passes.

Team really needed to win that game from that position. Massive loss.

Tocchet just isn’t a good coach. Nothing would change only we’d be stuck with him for longer. Players will continue to stagnate. Stillman will keep getting overplayed. He’s the same coach as Travis Green.

Would rather interim-Yeo and do a search in the off-season. Someone interesting like Gronborg or Brunette or an established systems guy like Trotz. Tocchet is the worst of no worlds.

No need to insult him personally, I also believe he’s going to get fired tomorrow, if we lose this game

What? How is that an insult? His head looks like an Egg. That’s fact. If his head looked like a cantaloupe I would call him a cantaloupe head. It’s an adjective …. A word or phrase that describes a noun.

We have been trash for 4 coaches. It’s not the coach.

I think pissed off Jim Rutherford was the last straw, f*** it all and he’s gonna drop the hammer.

This game is the turning point of our season.

A coach isn’t going to change the fortunes of the team. I’m not an idiot. What a good coach will do is allow positive growth for key players going forward. Put guys in positions to succeed and increased responsibility through mistakes for young players. We haven’t seen that with a coach since, weirdly, Tortorella.

Development is hugely important and Boudreau is utterly failing at that.

They need to fire Bruce. No way this team should have 6 wins right now.

Hire Tocchet and fully embrace the tank. Really feel like this is what management wants but aquilini is not allowing it. Should have no choice now.

Tonight was the perfect example of a team that doesn't understand team defense vs a team that does.

Seemingly every rebound Vegas had 4 guys boxing out, even Petterssons goal he had 2 guys draped on him. While we look like a house team around our net. Forwards allowing the D to be outnumbered, playing soft, in Horvats case abandoning his position. Pettersson is far and away the best defensive forward.

I'm tired of blaming the D personnel it's so lazy & tired. Aside from Bear I thought the rest were fine, the team just has no structure.

And because Bruce has them playing freewheeling hockey, our players are piling up the points - getting more expensive - while the team accomplishes nothing.

Have a feeling Boudreau is going to be fired after this latest collapse

Yeah, will be a bad move. They need to trade Horvat, Boeser, Garland for picks, keep all the shity defensemen, extend Kuzmenko because fans still need to watch something fan, and EP and Kuzmenko bring it, and go full tank.

The team gets a chance at last to pick high in one of the best drafts in 20 or more last years. If Vancouver wins Bedard fans will recall this season with tears of joy till the end of times.

Another embarrassing collapse. You could see the IQ drop sharply as the game went on. This team just straight up can't defend, and this year Demko blows goats. Frustrating to watch these clowns fumble around like idiots. Miller acting like a baby because he blew a check on the one goal, then got hit the next shift. He's gotta be one of the worst in the league at defending. This team sucks, but at least we still have our 1st rounder

The team is moving in the right direction. Hughes looks good. Miller looks a lot better, Horvat is keeping up his 60 goal pace, and Pettersson is imo is a top 10 player in the league right now, given what he does. That goal he scored was huge, and I actually thought they would carry this one home. A lot of what happened tonight is on Demko. He is giving up massive rebounds that lead to goals. When he plays the puck, it turns into a disaster., and he is not making saves. Next game will be tough.

Firing Boudreau is entirely pointless. We're simply a poorly constructed team floundering. Even if a new coach did create some sort of resurgence like Boudreau did last year. All we accomplished is a nice 15th place finish.

Hell, let's say by some miracle we actually did somehow make the playoffs. Our reward? Getting absolutely slaughtered by the very team who just beat us today. Or we could get Colorado.

Let Boudreau command the rebuild and maybe we can actually become a good team again and not one praying and clinging to playoff miracles.
