I think just in general, with the 10-day training camp and no exhibition, teams are going to be a lot looser to start. We're being thrown straight into the fire my dude.

Combine that fact with a whole year of Canadian match-ups and 3 on 3 overtime, this might be some of the most insane hockey we'll ever see

Def not confidence, I hate when people say that. When he tried to shoot, it had no weight to it. He labored. He didn't want to shoot when he was the only player in the offensive zone. I dont think it was a lack of offseason training or confidence
