I remember when this forum was down on Bertuzzi before he really made an impact in Detroit. Not saying Givani will have that impact but I think he's a more skilled player than people give him credit for.

We will see. Gagner is out so probably depends on whether helm is ready or not. Ideally helm and giavani are both in but I doubt it

sorry, it's just what I'd like to see as an every day thing but we don't get for various reasons. I just have a hard time building enthusiasm to see Flip, Nielsen, Helm, Gagner, etc. from day to day.

Thinking that Nielsen, Erne, Filppula, Staal, etc are better than the kids "who just need a chance" is not on Yzerman, or even Holland.

What's the point? Adding Smith doesn't win you any more games. And you're paying most of those people more.

Blashill needs a new contract. You think he gives a shit about playing kids? If Yzerman extends him for for another three years I'm sure he'd be more than ok giving some kids a look..
