Yeah ultimately we'll see in a few hours. I only mentioned it because typically despite being a jack*** he does have good sources.

This is really bumming me out. I think Appleyard said it a couple pages back, that this season is probably Giroux's best shot at 100 pts. I'd hate to see him miss it because of injuries.

To put a semi-positive spin on it, NY and Minnesota are pretty damn tough to score against. G only had 2 assists in 4 games against NYR last year, and just 1 assist in 2 games against MIN. So if he's going to miss games, I guess it's good that he'd miss the the games against teams that are tough to score on?

This, was hoping to see Giroux have a career year. Wonder if he's just going to be playing injured.
