Merkulov again on the PP. Net was off? May be reviewed.

Guzda keeps knocking the net off this game. One at each end.

Yep. Good goal. 3-3 now.

Lol…. Now after like 5 minutes, they’re reviewing it. Charlotte challenges. So dumb.

Great game tonight. Picked a good one to go to! Reilly was impressive. He looked like a guy who shouldn’t be in the AHL? That’s the best I can describe it.

Sounds like Merkulov has been on fire! Wouldn’t mind seeing him play a game at 3RW on the big club.

Hall-Coyle-Merkulov

I’m sure the plan is full season at providence and get a good look next training camp though.

Here is a question. I’m looking at the AHL standings and Providence is leading their conference and a top team in the league. How are prospects so bad that this happens. Is it the veterans that are doing the lifting?

Team is balanced
Getting excellent goaltending
Coach drives me nuts but he gets the most out of them
Schedule is favorable
Call ups have disrupted other teams more than Providence
The prospects are doing their part
The Vets do there's
It's not perfect but it's working

According to the box score on the AHL site Reilly also assisted on the game winning goal. Either way that's a hell of a game for him.

It looked bad -- a teammate (Lauko I think?) checked an opponent who fell into Curtis' knee. He was down for a few minutes but Hall did surprisingly return to the game.
