Peterson was in-effect suspended. He was on the commissioner's exempt list. There was also photos of that too. Not to say you're wrong, but you see the qualifying events that lead to whatever decisions come down.

NFL has more time to "investigate" this time around anyways, If I'm remembering correctly AP's was in August or shortly before the season.

Someone needs to change the thread title, no charges have been filed and Hill was not named in the report

Investigation involving Chiefs WR Hill underway

According to a police report obtained by KCTV, police in Overland Park, Kansas, were called to Hill's home Thursday to investigate an alleged battery in which a juvenile was a victim and Hill's fiancée is listed as "others involved." Hill was not listed on the report.

Carolina Panthers guard Taylor Hearn had a rough night in Augusta, Georgia ... getting knocked out cold in a brutal street fight captured on video.

Here's the deal … Hearn -- 6’4”, 315 lbs. -- was outside of a bar Thursday night when he got into it with a couple of guys on the street.

Clearly, the massive Hearn thought he’d be able to bully these guys around, due to his giant size and NFL strength, but he learned very quickly he was wrong. After some verbal insults and tussling, one of the guys on the street cracked Hearn with a straight right to the face that dropped the lineman like a sack of potatoes.

Hill has earned his reputation but this thread title should be changed. At this point he is not under investigation. The police report name his fiancee, not him. That could change, but for now, he isn't being investigated
