You can look at the rules and suggestions on the first post of this thread.

There is no required format/style for our GDTs, but for your first try you can look at what others have done. Check older schedules too if you're looking for inspiration:
2011-12
2010-11

You will do just fine as long as you include important info like game time, probable lineups and starting goalies, tv channels, etc

Watch out for image size (not too big, some posters have smaller screens ), and have fun!
