I liked this game for the fact that Kaner completely trolled his hometown team and their whiney fans.

Yep. Something is off with Toews.

That's just part of what happens with Toews on the penalty shots. sometimes he picks snipe over deke and sometimes he's not gonna get it. If he'd nailed his spot, we'd all be oohing and ahhing. Snipers on the PS end up looking like idiots when they don't beat the goalie. When they do, they look brilliant.

Yeah, it was a bad moment. Crow was mostly solid, and the second Buffalo goal was not at all on Crow, but the first goal was a bad one. Slow to return to the net.

Well bank the extra point...but we deserved a loss for this lousy effort not a win ...We Zzzzed this game ...especially our top 2 lines.. This kind of win rewards lazyness...so we never Lear any lesson from it. WHY we keep stinking on the road is beyond me...Professional pride you would think would elicit at least a B effort rather than the coasting C meh Zzzzfest we showed this game.The hockey gods gave us the 2 points but so undeserved ...

Genuinely worried about Toews now. He NEVER misses that five-hole shot that badly.

So far at least Keith and Kruger were playing through injuries that were visibly impacting their play, but the 'Hawks were pretending that everything was alright.

How likely is it that Toews is in a similar situation, i.e. playing through something that is only a matter of time until some check or contact will break/strain it past his ability to play with it?
