Talbot proved he was a legitimate starter with 73 starts, and 4th in Vezina votes

We were expecting Klefbom to take a huge step forward as our #1Dman

un-injured Sekera was an anchor in our top pairing.
Kassian came off a dominant playoffs, and we expected big things out of him.


After a great showing in the 2017 playoffs, we were pegged by many to win the cup.
