That is what happens when you put a guy like rak on a defensive 3rd line. They should have given him a shot with Sid to try to jump start him two weeks ago, instead of letting him get stagnant on geno’s line after seeing that he and smith basically play the same role on that line and that Geno is moving the play through smith Making rak redundant.
rak only worked with Geno when zucker was opposite to him, without zucker either smith or rak was going to be useless.

swapping rust with rak would balance both lines and get more overall production in the top six. And if big z was out there instead of rak that goal prob doesn’t happen.
