Yeah no shit, and so there was no other better player that should have been out there?! 🙄
That typically plays in Sid's area of the ice? Not really.

Rodrigues plays the wall on PP2 like Sid does.

If we're comparing the units:
Umbrella point: Letang-Matheson
One-timee point: Malkin-Kapanen
Wall/rover: Crosby-Rodrigues
Slot/bumper: Guentzel-Carter
Side of cage: Rust-Heinen

I think it'll come down to 5.5x5 with the years more front loaded so he gets paaaaaiiiid.

7.5? Lol no. I think Rust values his spot on the team and his fit. Where else will be play with a Crosby type? Maybe if Oilers have cap to throw it at Rust. But then he has to live in Edmonton and no sane bloke does.
Unlike Sid, Geno, and Letang Rust has never really gotten a huge pay day. The man has won his Cups. I would be shocked if he walks away from an extra 10 or 12 million for a chance to win a 3rd ring.

Go back and check the last 10 post from him, your not going to convince him. Just complaining to complain in a 5 -1 game
