I'm hoping that we don't get smoked tonight.

Though, in some ways I'd be fine with more reasons to send Johnston home. Tho... since WSH is such a good team this year, I can see the FO rationalizing it.

Eh, we'll see. It's one regular season game. Nashville was 6-1 before we played them, not that they didn't outplay us, but we always go into games with a strong notion of what will happen and it seems pretty random in the end.

Is OV still on his "run Geno all the time" kick?

If yes, over/under on attempts to kill his fellow Russian?

(did someone sleep with someone's gf, haha....cause sometimes it seems personal)

IIRC there was a girl involved. But it's all water under the bridge now. There were even pics of them hanging out together this off season. That doesn't mean Ovi isn't going to try to take him out though

I think Kovalchuk sorted that out so they both could play on the nt without killing each other.

Sid will make a face.
Malkin will take a penalty.
Kunitz will hot potato the puck.
Perron will miss the net

Not even looking forward to this game.
It's not Johnston's fault. Nor is it Tocchet

I'm fired up to check the score @ 10:30pm to see if I should bother watching it

Pens win this one 5-3. Sid has a monster game. Perron scores and Fleury lets in a softie. Don't ask me to qualify this. I just.... know, man.

I would personally take our goalie and our offense over theirs, but schematically everything goes the other way.

Holtby and Fleury are very close, but I'd give the slight edge to Holtby. On paper, the offense may be in our favor, but actually on the ice, they're significantly better than the Pens.

Any updates on lines?

I'm assuming:

Dupuis-Crosby-Hornqvist
Perron-Malkin-Kessel
Kunitz-Bonino-Sprong
Plots-Cullen-Bennett

Or maybe Bennett and Sprong flip flopped.

They didn't do line rushes today, but that's what they've been the last couple of practices.
