I think it will be McDavid, Drai, Hyman, Kane, RNH out up front with Nurse and Ceci coming in and Ekholm - Bouchard coming out on D.

Personally, I would also start Pickard again, but I don't think they will.

If you are (and I am pretty sure that you are) arguing for the notion that people should get jobs based strictly on merit (and nothing else) then I completely agree with you.

I wonder what team they prefer to play in the first round, Edmonton or Dallas. The effort by each team will be a tell on who they think the easier opponent is for them.

I wonder. It's not that clear that winning helps at all. It's either vs Edmonton, Dallas or Vancuver. So much depends on what the other team does. Seems like a recipe to say "screw it" and just rest guys

I watched every game through the DoD days, and every pre-season game and I'm off tomorrow, so I'll definitely be watching. I'd like to see some fire from the replacement players and want to see the Oilers keep the Avs to 2 goals or less. That'll be a win in my books.
