Anyone know what Backes is out for?

He took a Steen slapshot off the foot (or ankle?) in the Washington game. The hope is there is no break, but the only official word so far is probably just lower body injury, day to day.

Took place in the 2nd period. Backes skated one more shift after taking the shot (I think) and never returned.
