Andrei Lomakin scored consecutive goals and the Flyers rallied from a 3-0 hole to defeat Quebec 5-3 in Philadelphia. Dominic Roussel made his NHL debut and stopped all 12 shots in relief of Ken Wregget who was pulled with the Flyers trailing 3-0. Lomakin then narrowed the gap to one goal after scoring twice. Mike Ricci, Mark Pederson and Brad Jones then finished the scoring.

If there's a team that the offense could break out against, it's the Pens. On top of that, going into the week break on a good note with a win and a bunch of goals is pretty much the best we can ask for at this point. It would also be really good for confidence to beat our main rival who is on top of the division. Like I said, if there's going to be a "turning point" in this season, this is the chance.

its hard to get excited thinking the team will finaly find its offense, given its the Cindy C. show and the refs are as they always will be when Bettmans fav. son is playing.

still it would be worth extra troll points if this is indeed the breakout game for our missing O. stars.

but im not gunna hold out for it.

It's not like the refs favoring the Pens different from every other team the Flyers play. Remember the games against the Red Wings and Habs? We're consistently screwed by the opponents 7th player. Either way, the Flyers usually seem to be the Pens kryptonite so I really think that if the offense is going to suddenly get it going it'll be against them.

I'm considering spending my time doing something more productive for this game like clawing my eyes our or watching Jersey Shore.

This game is going to cause a trade. Huge break in between games? No doubt 1 or 2 players will not be with this team for the NYR game is my guess.

I blame the new TV I bought after the Florida game. I've yet to see a Flyers win on the damn thing. Oh and another 50 in vCash for this one.

I remember when the Flyers used to be good, or at least scored goals.

I miss those days
