Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the shootout.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

Here's to hoping Jokipakka and Connauton play while Oleksiak watches from the press box.

OP fully updated.

Stars are 9-5-1 on Long Island since the move to Texas.

Wait, that's not fair... that coincides perfectly with when we started being terrible.

Looks like it is Chad Johnson in net for the Isles tonight. And Grabovski is back as well after the concussion he sustained from a hit by John Scott. Still no Hamonic, Grabner, or Bailey. Lubo played his first game of the season on Thursday, so we are pretty much one guy gets healthy and one guy gets hurt each game.

How long is the Chush out for? I just realized last night that he wasn't playing.

This should be a really fun one tonight. We have very similar teams, as is told in the team stats. Hoping for a clean, injury free game. Cheers!

The Quiet Corner
The howitzer is in the shop for repairs so I got an RPG launcher instead.

*Makes sure frozen puck is properly attached to the grenade launcher*

*Aims it at Nassau Coliseum"

*Pulls the trigger*

WHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOSSSSSHHHHHH!!!!!!!

*Misses center ice but takes out the jumbo tron instead*

Oops. My bad. Damn thing has a hell of a kick.:blush:

*Slowly backs away, then turns & runs like hell*

GO STARS!!!!

I think this will be an exciting matchup, but since we played last night I don't think we will see the Stars playing at the same level they have been. I would be happy with a point tonight, but two would be sweet.

Lindback starting with McKenzie and Connauton scratched again.

I guess Ruff really must have liked what Jokipakka did last night. Originally he had only planned on gettting him in for one of the games in the back-to-back. I'm interested to see how he does in the absence of his first NHL game jitters.
