If all goes well, it is not inconceivable that we could close within two points of LA tonight, who currently are tied with Colorado, 2-2 in the second. The Kings do look the better, more motivated team, however.

After two periods, LA has outshot Colorado 32-11. That's an accurate reflection of the game, too.

Hard to say for sure though. The last 5 minutes of game time, Edzo has been talking about hot dogs. Forslund can barely get the play-by-play in between all the dogs.

Calgary has been coming back from two goal deficits seemingly all month and they have done it again against Vancouver in a game that had seemed snake=bit in, held scoreless in their first 27 shots over two full periods. Now tied in the third.

Later: the game goes into one of the most exciting overtimes of the year, then to a shootout which Vancouver wins. Calgary and Nashville both lose ground to Winnipeg for the last playoff spot.

Injured? I think so.

He wasn't playing too terrible. The defense in front of him was non-existent at times.
