They have Pastarnak. Two years ago he became a 70 point player.

With MT the Pens were bottom third everywhere and out of the playoffs. Think about that. Crosby and Malkin and they were bottom third. He gets fired and they're immediately top ten everywhere and win the cup.

That wasn't this year's goal - Toronto is in its 3rd (?) year of a rebuild, and the team still has a putrid defense. Maybe MB can address the defense sooner but I doubt it given what he will have to give up to get good Ds.
